a sigh of frustration. i've spent so much time alone this year. time sitting in my room, writing, creating, praying, reading. it's not hard for me to entertain myself for hours. but suddenly i don't have to entertain myself. suddenly i have someone to spend time with. and i'm sighing in frustration anyway, because i'm remembering that when you get rid of one problem, you just add on a new one. it's not that i'm spending any less time with my friends than i would normally. but somehow, i'm now being accused of jumping in too fast, of neglecting my other relationships, of not being wise with my time. it's not true. it's just that now, instead of writing my thoughts to a book, i can speak them to a face, and it's been the best two weeks of the semester because of david's face...but this is draining some of the joy. i am counting (down) every day.
