it is a long day of studying. i keep tucking my normal mental to-do list out of site, behind today's to-do list of memorization for this final exam tomorrow. i keep wishing it was over already, because that hidden to-do list is getting so heavy that i fear pieces of it will drop off and never get done at all. maybe i will send tomorrow-andie an email from today-andie, and remind her to take care of what is currently being neglected. it's a thought, but checking into my email will only make me feel more plowed under.

the sky is a bright blue, and david is staying with me this week so that we can make the drive across the state together. i woke him up at 7am this morning and we drove to fairmount park, where icicles taller than me are dripping from beneath the city bridges. the light was ghosting from my camera's shutter, making trails of pale rainbow octagons float in the air, and maybe if i can find a scanner i'll show you just what it looked like through my lens. gorgeous.

and i guess that will have to be all for now. i have just so much to learn, and i can't call any of it unimportant. but perhaps on saturday, in the midst of the grove city tundra, i'll have some more to write about and some time in which to write it.

(and my hair? short. and fun. and maybe if i find a scanner, i can show that to you, too.) till saturday...
